Ammonium Sulfate
Ammonium sulfate is mainly used as a nitrogen fertilizer in agriculture. There are also many other niche applications, such as food additives and drinking water treatment.

The use of fertilizers

In the food industry, fertilizers are used in various forms and concentrations, depending on the needs of the plants and the requirements of the particular growing situation. There are organic fertilizers such as animal manure and compost, and mineral fertilizers such as nitrogen, phosphate and potash.
