Ammonium Sulfate
Ammonium sulfate is mainly used as a nitrogen fertilizer in agriculture. There are also many other niche applications, such as food additives and drinking water treatment.

The largest group of inorganic compounds
Frequent metal cations are potassium, sodium, lithium, copper, magnesium, calcium, barium, iron, tin or, as a non-metal cation, ammonium and compounds derived from this. The most common acid residue anions are chlorides, nitrates, sulfates, phosphates, carbonates, bromides, iodides, fluorides, sulphides, nitrites or phosphides.
